Frequently Asked Questions
What time do you update with today's Wordle answer?
I update this page every day at midnight EST (9 PM PST) when the new Wordle puzzle goes live. If you're seeing yesterday's answer, try refreshing the page. The daily update happens automatically, so you'll always have access to the current puzzle's solution within minutes of it going live.
Can I see hints without seeing the full answer?
Absolutely! That's exactly why I built this page the way I did. Each hint level is in its own expandable section. Start with Level 1 (the category hint) - most people can solve the puzzle with just that. Only expand Level 2 if you need more help. I specifically designed it so you control exactly how much information you see.
Why do you show the answer at all? Doesn't that ruin the game?
I totally get that concern! Here's my philosophy: Wordle should be fun, not frustrating. Some days, you're just stuck. Maybe you're on guess 5 with no green letters. Maybe you have a streak you don't want to break. Maybe English isn't your first language. I provide the answer as a last resort, but I strongly encourage everyone to try the hints first. Most of my visitors never make it past Level 2 or 3 hints.
Can I see past Wordle answers?
Yes! I keep a rolling 30-day archive of all Wordle answers. It's useful if you missed a day and want to catch up without spoilers, or if you're curious about the difficulty trend. Just click on any date in the 'Recent Answers' section. I also note the difficulty level for each past answer so you can see if you missed an easy or hard one.
Is this official? Are you affiliated with NYT/Wordle?
No, I'm not affiliated with the New York Times or Wordle in any way. I'm just a Wordle fan who built tools to help other players. I get the answers the same way everyone else does - by playing the game or through community sharing. This is an unofficial fan site created to help people enjoy the game more.
What if I accidentally see the answer before playing?
I actually built a feature for this! At the top of the page, there's a 'Spoiler-Free Mode' toggle. When enabled, it hides all answers and only shows hints. Turn it on before you play, use the hints if you get stuck, and only reveal the answer if you absolutely have to. I recommend keeping this mode on by default.
